Website was developed for the blind and visually impaired.
Major funding for our programming continues to come from private foundations, and on behalf of our clients we thank them for their longstanding and generous support throughout the years.
Significant funding is derived from our annual golf tournament, which continues to surpass itself every year, and also from our signature event, Dining in the Dark.
In 2013, we added a Clay Shoot and due to its success, it has become a major fundraiser for us.
The remainder of our funding comes from individuals and corporations.
We continue to keep our administrative overhead low and our current overhead (as of fiscal year 2013) is 14%. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we rely on donations to provide our services. Sight into Sound does not seek or receive any government or United Way funding.
We have partnered with the non-profit Give Direct to offer you an easy, secure method of donating online. The donation goes right onto the credit card you specify, so you can rest easy knowing you're contributing to a good cause, securely and safely.
A simple and easy way to support Sight into Sound is by shopping at Amazon. Amazon Smile, Amazon's give back program, donates 0.05% of your eligible purchases back to Sight into Sound (Taping for the Blind). Use this link and choose Taping for the Blind (our legal name is Taping for the Blind dba Sight into Sound) as your charity of choice. http://smile.amazon.com/chn4-1698993
